When you create an account, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, and company name. As you use BuildDesk, we collect usage data including features used, actions taken, and session metadata to help us improve the product. Payment information is processed securely by Stripe — we never store your credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers.
We use your information to provide and maintain the BuildDesk service, authenticate your account, and deliver the features you rely on. We send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account alerts) via our email provider. We also analyze aggregate, anonymized usage data to improve the product over time. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean. We use an SQLite database to persist your account and pipeline data. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
BuildDesk integrates with the following third-party services to operate:
Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.
Resend — transactional email delivery (receipts, alerts, password resets).
DigitalOcean — cloud infrastructure and server hosting.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data may be retained for a reasonable period before deletion. You may request permanent deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at bennett@getbuilddesk.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
BuildDesk uses session cookies solely for authentication purposes — to keep you logged in during your session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
